Bookwalls was born out of necessity in 1989. The marketplace was lacking a system that looked and felt like fine furniture, but could be moved and reconfigured as needed. Bookwalls was founded to provide custom construction and design without the permanence, mess and high cost of built-in bookshelves, offering a practical solution to the problem.
In 2009, Scott Kubicek of Advantage Cabinets, Inc. purchased Bookwalls. A team of skilled craftspeople in Owatonna, Minnesota, continues to provide the same impeccable quality, flexibility and style.
