When your custom home library shelves arrive, you will find detailed assembly instructions written specifically for you unique Bookwall, complete with photos of your actual system. While our staff is standing by to help after every shipment, it can be a lonely job; customers rarely call with assembly questions. Our staff typically follows up with a phone call after shipment to ensure the delivery and assembly process went smoothly.
Measure the distance from the corner each way to the end of the desired Bookwall, then add them together and subtract the depth from each side of the Bookwall. For example, from the desired corner to the left is 120”, and from the corner to the right is 100”, which totals 220”. If the proposed depth left and right of the corner is 12”, subtract a total of 24” from the total of 220”, for a total of 196” of Bookwall with one inside corner.
A CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is provided once the quote is accepted and a 50% down payment has been made. The purpose of CAD is to better visualize the construction of the Bookwall and provide accurate measurements of final design.

Generally speaking, widths of up to 64” are easily accomplished, but it is best to call and speak with our sales staff for a more in-depth answer.
Yes! Our glass shelves are actually solid hardwood frames with glass inserts designed to lie flush with the top of the hardwood frame. We use this design so that when your Bookwall is viewed from the front, all of your shelves have a cohesive look and the same dimension.

A cable raceway is built into each vertical support between sections, and additional raceway is built into the bottom of the Bookwall from end to end.
